elevated mood lighting

 

These recent works (Enlighted Rings 8 through 12) are illuminated with similar patterns and colors, but with different geometric layouts that are more apparent when viewed as a synchronized group. Each is a ~20" diameter by 4" thick dome of soldered metal rings with internal RGB LED backlighting. The video demonstrates some of the sound-reactive effects responding to ambient music detected by microphones within each piece.
